The Uro-Oncology and Robotic Surgery team at Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket has reached a significant milestone—successfully completing 300 robotic surgeries for urological cancers. These advanced procedures include robotic radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer, robotic radical cystectomy for bladder cancer, as well as robotic partial and radical nephrectomies for kidney cancers. The team also performs surgeries for more complex cases involving penile, testicular, and adrenal cancers.
Established just two years ago, the department has been spearheaded by Dr. Tushar Aditya Narain, a leading figure in uro-oncology and robotic surgery. Under his leadership, the team has not only introduced cutting-edge surgical techniques but also achieved consistently excellent clinical outcomes, rapidly becoming one of the fastest-growing teams in the region for urological cancer care.
In a short span, the team has provided comprehensive treatment to over 1,000 patients, setting new standards in robotic-assisted cancer surgery. Dr. Narain is ably supported by a skilled and dedicated team including Mr. Manpreet Singh, Mr. Praveen Rathi, and Mr. Manish Sharma, whose expertise and commitment have been pivotal to the department’s success.
With a strong focus on innovation, precision, and patient-centric care, Max Smart Hospital’s Uro-Oncology team is setting new benchmarks in the fight against urological cancers.
